Product Description

A collaboration between traditional and modern
MoMA's museum shop captivates the world
The exquisite Japanese sensibility
Make the world fall in love with you
When you think of Nambu ironware, you think of the solid, black iron. The Color Pot Series from Logi Associates completely eradicates that image. The most popular of these is the dome-shaped pot, with its clean design that fits in well with Western dining tables.

The dot pattern on the surface is a traditional Nambu ironware pattern called "arare." Not only does it have an exquisitely Japanese feel, but it also increases the surface area and improves the heat retention effect.

Unlike iron kettles, teapots cannot be placed over an open flame. However, teapots are small and easy to hold. The inside of the teapot is enameled to prevent rust even if you use it casually every day.
If you place this teapot on the dining table, it will surely become an accent piece for your table setting. It is also a must-have item for enjoying cold sake, in addition to tea.

Workshop Introduction

The world longs for
Modern colours and design
Nambu ironware has a long history. Its history dates back to the mid-17th century, and each piece has been carefully crafted by artisans. It is said that if you take good care of it, it can be used by your grandchildren, and the quality of Nambu ironware is recognized worldwide for its shape and thickness that distributes heat evenly, and the mellow taste that comes from the hot water poured into the iron.

Among the many Nambu ironware manufacturers, Logi Associates is popular for its designs and colors that incorporate young sensibilities. The young designers' goal is to "exhibit the beauty of traditional crafts in the ultimate simplicity."

We created Nambu Ironware with a modern color scheme, focusing on shapes and colors that allow the solid texture of Nambu Ironware to fit into modern life. The design was even recognized by the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, and was displayed as a product in the museum shop.

I would like many people in modern Japan to incorporate the traditional Japanese crafts that adorn dining tables around the world into their daily lives.
